Medical Facilities

Government Engineering College provides an on-campus Dispensary Facility to support the health, safety, and well-being of students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff. The facility serves as an accessible point of care for addressing routine health concerns and providing basic medical assistance and first-aid support within the campus.

The dispensary facilitates access to medicines available under applicable Bihar Government provisions/schemes, thereby supporting the healthcare needs of the college community. It is equipped with essential health-monitoring facilities such as Blood Pressure (BP) measurement, Blood Sugar testing, weighing scale, and other basic medical equipment for routine health assessment.

The facility contributes to the institution’s commitment towards student welfare, preventive healthcare, health awareness, and a safe and supportive campus environment. It also enables timely identification of basic health concerns and facilitates referral to appropriate healthcare facilities whenever further medical evaluation or treatment is required.

Ward Room

The institution has a dedicated Ward Room within the campus to provide a safe and suitable space for students and staff requiring temporary rest, observation, or basic care due to illness, minor injuries, weakness, or other health-related situations.

The Ward Room complements the on-campus dispensary and provides an appropriate facility for short-term observation and recovery before the individual resumes normal academic or official activities. In cases requiring specialized medical attention, appropriate referral to a nearby healthcare facility is facilitated.

The provision of a dedicated Ward Room reflects the institution’s emphasis on health, safety, student welfare, and the creation of a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
